In accordance with Rule 2.2.3R of the Financial Conduct Authority’s (“FCA”) Conduct of Business Sourcebook (“COBS”), Advanta Invest Limited (“Advanta Invest” or the “Firm”) is required to disclose on its website the nature of its commitment to the UK Stewardship Code (the “Code”), or, where it does not commit to the Code, explain its alternative investment and stewardship approach.

The UK Stewardship Code, published by the Financial Reporting Council (“FRC”), is a voluntary code that promotes effective stewardship and responsible investment by asset managers and asset owners. The Code establishes principles intended to encourage investors to monitor and engage with investee companies, helping to support long-term value creation and protect client interests.

Advanta Invest Approach

Advanta Invest recognises the importance of stewardship and acting in the best interests of its clients. However, the Firm is not currently a signatory to the UK Stewardship Code.

Given the size, nature and scale of its activities as a discretionary investment manager, the Board has concluded that formal signatory status is not currently proportionate. Nevertheless, the Firm seeks to incorporate stewardship principles within its investment process where appropriate.

Advanta Invests approach includes:

• Ongoing monitoring of investments and portfolio holdings.
• Due diligence and oversight of third-party fund managers, investment providers and counterparties where applicable.
• Consideration of material environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) factors where these may impact investment risks, opportunities or client outcomes.
• Review of corporate actions and significant developments affecting underlying investments.
• Maintaining an investment process focused on delivering suitable long-term risk-adjusted outcomes for clients.

The Board reviews the Firm’s stewardship approach periodically and will reconsider its position regarding formal adherence to the UK Stewardship Code should the nature, scale or complexity of the Firm’s activities change.
